Guidelines to record video testimony:

Lighting: Ensure you have adequate lighting to clearly see your face. Natural light is ideal, so try to position yourself facing a window or use a well-lit room. Avoid having bright light sources behind you, as it can create a silhouette effect.

Background: Choose a clean and uncluttered background that is free from distractions. A neutral or solid-colored wall works well. Remove any personal or sensitive information that might be visible in the background.

Camera position: Position your camera or smartphone at eye level. This helps create a more natural perspective and avoids unflattering angles. Prop up your device or use a tripod to keep it steady, ensuring a stable recording.

Framing: Frame yourself from the chest or waist up, allowing your face and upper body to be clearly visible. Avoid extreme close-ups or framing that cuts off parts of your head or body.

Audio quality: Choose a quiet environment to minimize background noise. Speak clearly and directly into the microphone of your device. If possible, use an external microphone for better audio quality.

Eye contact: Look directly into the camera lens to create a sense of connection with the viewers. This helps establish trust and engagement.

Remember, the key to a compelling video testimony is to speak genuinely from your own perspective and experiences. Be confident, passionate, and sincere in sharing your story or opinion.
